Why learn about terrorism? Clearly terrorism captures the public imagination, especially when terrorist acts occur. Some people believe that terrorism is inexplicable, and that to try to understand it risks justifying it. We at Learning Life believe that better understanding terrorism does not justify it, but rather improves people’s and societies’ ability to prevent and respond effectively to terrorism.
