Call for Family Diplomats & Ambassadors

Learning Life seeks families worldwide to join our growing network of families engaging in dialogue online to connect, learn, share, and advocate for the welfare of families.  All families are welcome to apply to serve as volunteer Family Diplomats (FDs) and Family Diplomacy Ambassadors (FDAs) though we seek especially families impacted by five major issues affecting families across the world:

  1. War
  2. Poverty
  3. Climate Change
  4. Gender-Based Violence (e.g., violence against women, gays, etc.)
  5. The Internet (online addictions, scams, bullying, sexual predation, etc.)

FDs, among other things, attend monthly dialogues via Zoom in March-November, on Sundays, 12-1pm New York time, to connect, learn, share and advocate.  FDAs do all the things FDs do, but also help grow the Family Diplomacy Initiative (FDI).  Interested families should ideally have at least two members of the family (siblings, parent and child, grandparent and grandchildren, etc.) willing to attend the monthly family diplomacy dialogues together.  Learn more about the duties and benefits of serving as FDs or FDAs here.

FDI connects people worldwide across lines of country, class, race and religion via the internet to share and learn together about families and citizen diplomacy with an eye to developing a corps of trained FDs and FDAs to advocate for a more caring world via media, businesses, nonprofits and governments.
