Join Friends of DemFest in Four Steps!

Live in the Washington DC region?

Like democracy?

Then become a Friend of the DMV Democracy Festival (DemFest) by taking these four steps:

  1. SIGN the public statement supporting the growth of DemFest as a new tradition in our nation’s capital to help celebrate and strengthen democracy in America.  Individuals and organizations that fill out the brief form at the preceding link will be added to this public statement.  

  2. SUBSCRIBE to get DemFest updates periodically via email.  Alternatively, if you’d like to sponsor, table, speak, volunteer, help evaluate, or bring youth to DemFest, fill out our brief DemFest Partner Survey.

  3. DONATE to support DemFest.  Give $100, $250, $500, $1,000, or what you can afford toward Learning Life’s goal of $25,000 in donations by DemFest day (October 4, 2025) to help organize and pay for DemFest materials and activities.  Consider sponsoring one or more diverse DMV 8th-12th grader’s participation in DemFest’s Youth Summit on Youth Policymaking ($100 sponsors one student’s participation).      

  4. PARTICIPATE in DemFest!  Mark your calendar now to attend DemFest on Saturday, October 4, at 1-6pm at All Souls Church Unitarian.  The Church is located at 1500 Harvard St NW in Washington, DC, an eight-minute walk from the Green Line’s Columbia Heights Station, with street parking and parking lots in walking distance.
